The Hunter Valley Outdoor Show is the largest outdoor lifestyle event in regional New South Wales, bringing together over 300 exhibitors, community groups, and entertainment experiences across three action-packed days at Maitland Showground.
Now celebrating more than 29 years, this iconic regional event showcases everything from the latest outdoor gadgets and accessories through to caravans, motorhomes, 4WD vehicles, camping equipment, fishing gear, and adventure products. Visitors can also enjoy live entertainment, family activities, multiple food areas, free car parking, and a convenient courtesy bus service.
Booking online gives you faster entry, secure ticket delivery, and better value compared to purchasing at the gate. Children aged 16 years and under receive free entry, making this an ideal family day out in the Hunter Valley.

Terms & Conditions
Ticket Validity: Tickets are valid for one day only and cannot be used for multiple days. Tickets must be presented for entry and are valid for a single admission only. Lost, damaged or stolen tickets may not be replaced.
Ticket Refunds: Unless the event has been cancelled by Rural Scene Promotions Pty Ltd, we do not offer refund on tickets.
Gate Opening Times: Gates open from 9:00am daily. Entry times may vary depending on programmed entertainment, competitions and demonstrations. Please refer to the official show program or website for the most up to date event schedules.
Dogs at the Show:
Outdoor Shows & Home Show: Dogs are welcome. They must be kept on a leash at all times and remain under effective control. Owners are responsible for the behaviour and welfare of their animals and must clean up after their pets. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or request removal of any animal that poses a risk or causes disruption.
Gate Prize Entry: Please place your gate prize entry ticket in the barrel identified on your Gate Handout. Only official entry forms will be accepted. Winners will be drawn as advertised and prizes are not redeemable for cash unless stated otherwise.
Safety & Security: The safety and enjoyment of all patrons, exhibitors and staff is a priority. Bag checks may be conducted on entry and prohibited, illegal or dangerous items may be refused entry. Security staff are authorised to enforce venue rules and patrons must follow all instructions given.
Please be aware that this is an active event environment that may include livestock, machinery, rides, vehicles, cables, uneven surfaces and large crowds. Patrons enter at their own risk and are encouraged to remain alert at all times.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the behaviour and safety of children in their care.
The organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property. Vehicles and belongings are brought onto the site at the owner’s risk.
In the event of an emergency, evacuation or weather-related incident, please remain calm and follow all instructions provided by event staff, security personnel or emergency services.
Photography & Media: By entering the venue, you consent to the use of any photographs or video recordings taken of you for promotional, marketing or archival purposes without compensation.
General Conditions of Entry: The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel admission, or remove any person for safety, security, compliance or behavioural reasons without refund. By entering the venue, you agree to comply with all venue rules, staff directions, signage and published conditions of entry.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in removal from the venue without refund.
